Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil Expansion Pack Reviews

The game "Ressurection Of Evil" installed but, an incorrect.dll version did not allow the game to be played on my computer although, I'm running Doom 3 without a problem.

I must say, it was a lot of fun to get back into that world again. The double-barrel shotgun makes it's return from Doom 2, and it packs the same punch as before. While the expansion is a bit short (like Doom 3), it's hard to argue with the price, and the new weapons/artifact make it worth a purchase. I was a little disappointed with the final boss, but the rest of the game was very enjoyable and had a several of those great moments when the screen is filled with demons and you are just emptying your ammo from one weapon after another to take them all out. This expansion does what any good expansion should; it gives you more levels from a familiar game, with some new features/additions in the form of weapons and a very cool artifact. Classic Doom. Playing this game late at night by myself with no lights on gave me that creepy feeling I remember from Doom 3, Doom 2, and the original Doom. I played Doom 3 when it first came out, but never picked up the expansion until recently.

Just wish they would go for a. I still think Doom is the best game developed. Doom 4.

Give it a try, you'll need the Doom-3 version for the expansion to play. Enjoy. This game is a real eye opener it keeps your interest and may even give you the creeps.

If you like Doom 3 and wanted more of the same, with a few new critters and a lot less email then by all means buy it. This game was well worth the price.
