Just what I asked for - Received on time and in perfect shape. Msladyjae Thanks.
I contacted PYLE (the name says it all) and they wanted me to send the blown tweeters back and pay for shipping both ways=$30.00 Why just so i could blow them again. I purchased two sets of pyle PLG6C component speakers and hooked them up to a kenwood 150x2 amp. System sounded good for about a day and a half and then the tweeters started blowing left and right. Probably ok to run just off the recievers power but if you plan on running an external amp forget it.
I checked the X-overs and they were fine, I then preformed a resistance check with my ohm meter and all 4 tweeters tested out of limits. So much For the 200 Watt RMS power rating. Diagnois 4 blown tweeters. Screw that.
Using a 600W Rockford Amp to Drive them they sound great. W/O alot of space for larger speakers I put these in the back side panels of my convertible. I listen to alot of Jazz; and they are great for that.
Plz take a look to what you are selling to people. Amazon should not be selling that garbage. I bought this item with a pyle 500 watts speakers, and all of them are broken.If you really want to waste money is fine , buy it.
I was looking for a good set of Mid-Bass drivers for the doors in my wife's '01 VW Beetle. My wife wanted a SUB, but now is quite pleased with the BASS from this setup.and she likes her BASS. I was not able to find any 6.5" mid-bas drivers reasonably priced, so I got these as a temporary fix, until I could find a good deal. I am going to put the tweeters in my ride.can't speak to them, but the bass drivers are EXCELLENT. These are the "good deal" I was looking for. She has the VW OEM Monsoon system, and it kept blowing the OEM door speakers. They have been going strong for 6 months, no problems. They sound AWESOME in this car with this system.
