It doesn't take up much space, it gives him something to do and the print quality is very good. He's had it for several months and really enjoyed printing out pictures from his 96th birthday party while the party was still going on and giving the pictures away.
It was such fun we all wanted one. We weren't able to get it to crop photos, but it may be that it will do that and we just didn't figure that part out.
My brother gave this to our father who is in assisted living. Still, there's nothing difficult about this unit and it beats watching TV.
A very useful, easy-to-use unit if your fingers work right. Still, nice photos.
If he can use it, anybody can use it. The only problem is that my father has lost dexterity in his fingers, so he struggles putting the memory stick in.
Very easy to use. Excellent pictures. A must buy for the casual photo person.
With a computer, no problem; but the software package for photo editting leaves something to be desired. Sometimes the red-eye reduction needs to be undone. I bought two, one for a gift. The LCD screen is too small and you can't zoom in to see if you need to edit more before prining (w/out a computer). The photo managing is not always easy and intuitive. Overall, I love this printer and recommend it for the price, quality, and cheap recurring costs of printing. Fast printing. Very good quality photos.
I compared the print quality with a more expensive HP printer and basically there was not much a difference. I would definitely purchase this again. This is a great printer. So I chose this printer and it has been great.
The photo quality is fantastic and it's super easy to use. I made my own Christmas cards this year. The borders are also very fun. This is a great printer. There are more print layout options when you use it as a standalone printer (not through the PC) like printing wallet size.
