I love that these prints have a life expectancy of 100+ years. This is a great pack - enough ink and paper to print 150 4x6 photos at home. It is a great purchase for those with the Picture Mate. I actually take a new pack and my Picture Mate with us to visit family, so I can leave them with printed photos of our visit together. It is wonderful to have these on hand for all the last minute school projects the kids have or any kind of photo-driven project. The photo quality is outstanding - and I am a very picky photography hobbyist.
However, I simply removed the cartridge, gave it a good shake and inserted it back into the Picture Mate. A message did pop up suggesting that it was time to replace the color cartridge before the entire pack of glossy papers were used. This allowed me to print a dozen more pictures. I used my Picture Mate personal photo lab to print scenic shots taken during a recent visit to Acadia National Park in Maine. The color quality of the prints was so outstanding that you would think the prints were store-bought postcards.
My only complaint is the ink seems to run out before the picture paper does. Pictures come out just as if you'd sent them or taken them into a 1 hour photo if not better.
As most people who have ever used an inkjet printer the ink is very expensive. The combination of this paper and the matching ink cartridge is a very economical way of printing photos. I recommend it.
The product arrived on time and at a better price than the stores around here. This ink and glossy paper kit keeps my Epson PhotoMate photo lab up and running.
