Epson Yellow Ink Cartridge (T054420) Reviews
The color can be duplicated, but all inks are not created equal.
Provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging.
It is important to me that my prints are of high quality, so I don't attempt to use the cheaper compatible ink cartridges.
When it comes to ink for my R1800 photo printer, I am concerned with the quality of the images I print.

CONS:.
Third party options may produce a good print initially, but may not hold up or last as long.
The Epson yellow UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink cartridge provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging.
PROS:.
If you own the EPSON Stylus Photo R1800, this is the ink for you.
Under $11 is a good price for the Epson ink catridges and they work for the R800 or R1800, which I have, a great printer. I seem to use more yellow cartridges than any of the others. The description doesn't say for the R1800, but it is, says it right on the packaging. I've paid $13-$15 elsewhere when needed at last minute.
Great product in every respect, but cost too much for what it is - ink.
