It's a little bit weak at the joints and doesn't go all that high. I bought this product and had no trouble mounting my Apple 23" HD display on it. It also does not have springs to balance the weight of the monitor. Otherwise it is fine.
My advice: a larger monitor will work, just be sure it is under the max weight limit, which I believe to be 18 pounds. It is solid as a rock. Even though the specifications indicate you should use a monitor under 20 inches, my 22 inch monitor works great. Because of the edge of my desk, I used the "through the desk" mounting option versus the "on the edge" option.
I drilled a hole for the screw to go through and tightened it from underneath. Style - 4 stars. It looks nice, but I would have preferred something in black that did not "stand" out so much. Functionality - 5 stars. My only complaint is the silver color of the stand. A great product.

I got this because it has a desk clamp instead of just sitting on my desk as with the Neoflex LCD stand ($35) because I felt that a 22inch widescreen monitor in portrait mode is really tall and might accidentally fall forward or backward, especially with kids. There's also grease when you take it apart so be careful not to get it on the carpet like me. It's fully adjustable which is really nice; however, I would keep it in either portrait or landscape mode and keep it there rather than rotating back and forth because it's stiff. anymore. I removed the middle arm because I don't need to extend it that long but one of the adjusting screw was really tight and I was able to do it but I don't think a mom or grandmother could do it (I'm a 39 year old male). The mount holds my Samsung 2253LW 22inch widescreen (8 lbs)in portrait mode and it's great so I don't have to scroll web pages, emails, Word documents, Windows Explorer, iTunes, etc.
This product is well made and very sturdy and has several adjustment and installation options. What more to say, this thing is great and worth every penny. Thanx Amazon. I looked at these for a couple months before I bought one. Amazon had the best price at the time I bought mine. I am using it with a 19" Planar LCD.
I wish it had a longer extension arm. It's a very decent mount. And the arms are somewhat stiff when you try to move the screen. Comes with everything you need.
