ESPN NBA 2K5 Reviews
and im saying this as NBA Live 08' and NBA 2K8 are going to be released in a few months. iLL. i actually ended up playing a season in Association Mode that went from 2004 to 2019 (i had to make a new one because i wanted the team chemistry off).and my roster had advanced from having current nba stars.to having nothing but people i had picked up in drafts when all the current stars retired. an EXCELLENT Association Mode and jam PACKED with Side features.like the very creative 24/7 mode.
theres something about the 2k company and the year 2005.because both nba 2k5 and nfl 2k5 came out EXCELLLENTTTT.and are both the best sports games in their respective sports. its like the game RE-INVENTS people in the draft every year.and after 15 years, there are no current NBA stars.but only players that have been drafted year after year. this game is by far the best basketball game ever made, period. even the NBA 2k7 thats out now can not compete with this game.
once you set all the Gameplay levels to the way you would like to play the game.this game is thee absolute Greatest game ever made. Remarkable.
A sign of a true Superstar is their very own signature kicks. The cheerleaders also look like they're straight out of a Gumby cartoon. Ah, and now for the gameplay. My only complaint is that with all of the beautifully rendered character models, your created character doesn't look up to par. Also, rebounding is more in your control, no more tapping the button and hoping you'll get it. With the same great gameplay from last year, and new things added, for a price of $20, sports fans gotta have it.
The presentation lives up to the ESPN tagged to the name. ESPN NBA Basketball 2K5 by Take 2 Interactive is brilliant in many ways. Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: PK The Green. First off, I was amazed to see they allowed me to create my own shoes.
Usually when I spend $20 for a game it's used, greatest hits, or horrid. Bill Walton comes up with the half-time report showing replays of the best plays. A hop-step button has been added for another dimension in storming the hoop. Various ESPN personalities supply pre-game and post-game reports, as well as sideline reports.
This one is none of the aforementioned.
Also, the gameplay is a LITTLE unrealistic. That's gotta be the dang hardest thing ever.NBA Live is MUCH easier with respect to free throws. That ticks me off so much I'm only giving it 3 stars. The gameplay is sweet, but the thing that ticks me off is the free throws. This thing with having to gently push in both triggers is just nuts; I didn't make ANY free throws the entire game, and I had like 10 chances.
I'd say it's a great game, except for the free throw thing. Played it at my cousin's house. I mean, I was sinkin' threes like nobody's business.even my center was makin' threes. But it was a load of fun playing.
Alright I was at Best Buy one day, walked past the games and I seen the new NBA 2k5 was out so I checked it out looked the price and it said 19.99 I was LIKE WHAT. Its fun playin on Xbox Live, thers just a few glitches in the game, but nothing that big of a deal. But this game is really worth 20 bucks for sure. So you know me, I bought it, and it's a really great game, better than 2k4.
I have both NBA Live & this game here. The only downfall for this game is each player has a high % of making shots.
I find myself playing this game non-stop. It's almost like each player has a portion of MJ in them.
The only thing NBA Live has for it is the All Star Weekend. This is the best basketball game I've ever played.
The fun factor for this game is way better. Way to go SEGA.
I'm not complaining about that, because I like high scoring games instead of low scoring (due to defense).
