Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick Reviews

The mechanics of the game are simple to learn and it won't be long until you are slashing and hacking your way through the city streets slaughtering any evil dead that crosses your path. Bruce Campbell lends his voice in a time-traveling, puzzle solving, zombie hacking good time. The graphics for the backgrounds is quite good although, the characters and monsters are a bit blocky. The story, while simple is engrossing enough to keep your interest. While this game does have a few flaws, it is overall a good hack and slash game. The game is relatively short but for the price, this one can't be beat. You don't have to be a fan of the Evil Dead movies to enjoy the game.

Most of the missions in the game are quite tedious. But don't think that it will be awsome. The storyline of the game is pretty cool but the gameplay is very bad.

It is non stop action. The controling to the game can sometimes be difficult.

He gives a couple of his cheesy one liners from the three movies. This game seems like it was rushed. When you have killed a zombie and keep on moving then comes the same zombie you just killed.

Overall i would not recomend this game to you because it ain't fun. The graphics aren't that good either. The only cool thing about it is that Bruce Cambell provides his voice for the game.

If you are a fan of the Evil Dead series you will probably get this game. But it starts to get quite boring after a half an hour of playing.

This game is a pointless shoot 'em up where all you do is run around shooting this or sawing that. It's entertaining for a little bit watching the zombies fall apart at the hands(or blades) of Ash's chainsaw. Anyone into these kind of games should check out the Hunter games instead. For starters, this is my brother's game, but I tried it out for like, fifteen minutes, before I got so bored I turned it off. I would not recommend this game to ANYONE unless they're a die hard fan of the Evil Dead series. They have better variation in weapons, and you can play with a friend. But it's only a matter of time before the gameplay becomes so redundant you have no will to continue playing because all you do is chop stuff up(and what's with the strip clubs everywhere.).There ARE spells that attempt to add some depth to the game, but when the day is over, you're left with the same shoot and slash garbage you started with when you turned the game on.

A Fistful of boomstick kept me playing until I beet the game. Boomstick is a game that I have not gotten completely bored with and I do recomend it. I love the fact that you have a button for Ash saying.

It has great handling, the buttons are easy to follow and the graphics are great. Me and my dad alike love this game. This game should be more than twenty bucks. My dad is the biggest fan of Evil dead movies, so I rented it. This game is awsome.

The weapons and spells are even better. When I rented it, my dad's head practically blew it's hinges. It has everything a blood-thirsty teen would ever wish for. The zombies in the game scare me so bad, though. If you like horror games, buy this game immediately.

It is way better than the first one. It's great.
