Evoluent VM3R2-RSB Vertical Mouse 3 Reviews

I bought this mouse for work because I had severe pain in my wrist from using a regular mouse. I would definitely recommend this mouse It still takes a little getting used to the buttons because I sometimes hit the back button in error. I need to buy one for my home computer because whenever I use that mouse my wrist starts to bother me. After a week or two the pain was gone.

I takes some getting used to, but the mouse has been great for the forearm pain I was battling using an ordinary mouse. There are two third-party drivers that make it work in OS X and add most functionality, but it is hard to want to shell out another $20 for software after spending so much for a mouse. The mouse has been very helpful. and add in playing tennis 3-4 days a week and racquetball at least once a week, my arm was killing me. As a graphic designer, I spend a great deal of time with the mouse in my hand. My only complaint is the lack of support for OS X. Some horizontal mechanism would be a nice addition as well. And I can't quite get either of those drivers to fully work with Exposé.

Maybe it takes getting used to, but even though I use it with a small wrist pillow, it is not comfortable enough. I don't think it is all that it is expected to be. It has been easier to use since then. But it still has a somewhat "choppy" movement, not a soft one and the mouse jumps around a bit even though I set it for small movement synchronization. I thought this mouse would really be very comfortable, but it is not so. Also, It allows for personalizing the buttons and the speed with which it moves, and that is good.

The buttons are too close to each other. As far as helping my wrist it's to early to tell. If you don't mind pressing the wrong botton every once in a while.

Designed for wrist RSI's, but it works perfectly for my elbow tendonitis also. The vertical design of this mouse enabled me to keep using my computer after I developed terrible elbow pains any time I use a regular mouse.
