And there are a few places I do know of personally I've often wanted to check out with this. The product arrived as expected, in good condition with no defects whatsoever after a few tests of the device. A great tool to have on hand, especially when you want to check out some potentially haunted places. Now I can. That and the Ghost Hunters book are both handy and informative tools to have on hand and I'm glad I finally have these items in addition to my own research materials. Thanks so much for your service, I can hardly wait to use it. I'm pleased to finally have my own EMF detector on hand should I feel the need to do some of my own paranormal detecting.
It works perfectly to me, but don't forget take different directions approach for each measurement. To say short - I like my EXTECH. When I get new PC I open its case and checked each board separately. Very useful device. I bought one to review my house wiring, electrical switches and the EMI radiation from my hobby PCB boards.
I already have a natural EMF meter but it doesn't pick up man made fields. The Extech meter is great to rule out the high man made fields for EMF sensitivity. I got this within two days of ordering it and have found several high readings in my home. I also bought this product for paranormal research.
I'm still using the same battery over a year later - Quality unit and I recommend highly. I used this meter in an investigation of the Brookdale Lodge near Santa Cruz - I've used it for other paranormal investigations with good results - Very good quality and simple functionality.
That had created a high EMF reading around the head of my bed. While nothing spectacular has happened yet in that regard, I have found that my bed was positioned very close to my electrical box (which is outside my home). I actually bought this product for paranormal research. I have since moved my bed and am actually sleeping much better these days.
