Great game experience. I could not say exactly the same for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, although it is a nice game too, but rather predictable and thus boring for the experienced player. Formula One team has been working to clearly improve the game, whereas Gran Turismo team has paid much more attention to graphics than to making their game more realistic and less predictable. The programme has several levels of complexity and realism, for the novice to the experienced demanding player. I am glad I bought Formula One for my sons and myself. Includes driving in different weather conditions making it a demanding and fun game. Much better than the famous Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
I am new PS3 game player and a senior citizen. While controls for the F1 racer might be realist, they are too sensitive for my motor skills. Plus, the forward view while racing is too limited for my reaction time. Maybe these features are adjustable but I have not found the way change the adjustments.
Career mode lets you get in the spirit of Formula One, which is to say a cut-throat world where winning is the only thing that counts. I plan on buying one of those driving wheels to enjoy the realistic action even more. This is the best racing game I've played on the PS3.
Lewis Hamilton is not in it. its so realistic and you car feel like a formula 1. driver.the only bad thing about the game is. I think this is the best game for PS3 so far,.
From the physics to the realism. It was the only F1 game on the market for a console and I immediately fell in love with it. But today I fell in love with this game all over again. It was designed for Gran Tourismo. If you don't have a wheel for this game then you have not actually played the real game.
This is now my favorite game for the PS3 and yes I have already tried the wheel with GT Prologue, Dirt and Nascar as well and they all are amazing with this new wheel. I cant stop smiling and laughing as I make seemingly ridiculous turns with such struggle. Get the wheel play the game it just plain rocks. It truly brings the game to life. Get a wheel and start having some fun. That made me want to play the game all over again.
I bought the new Logitech wheel for the PS3 "Logitech Driving Force GT". I bought this game a year ago. At first I missed my rumble. But last week I bought the Dual Shock 3.
