Shreds multiple pages well without jamming. Recieved in undamaged condition in a timely manner. Would recommend this product for general use of those wanting to protect their privacy. Somewhat larger than expected so check dimensions.
The day we got it, I tried to cause it to fail - to test it out. It has a nice capacity and for those who are trying to make eco-friendly purchases, you don't need to put a bag in this bin. I think with most shredders that cut the paper in to smaller pieces than just strips, it will have a tendency to have pieces left in the blades. I like this so much, I'm thinking of buying one for my home.
The casters also make it very easy to move between the two offices if needed. It took everything I gave it. It only jammed once because I tried to put way too much paper through at one time and when that happened, I hit the reverse button and it all came out with ease. It's easy to do and doesn't take long.
We recently bought this shredder for our office and it's shared between two people. I looked at lots of different styles and features and finally decided on this one. The only negative I can say is that when you do empty it out, you will want to reach under and grab the paper pieces that are still "stuck" in the blades.
I would highly recommend this product to any small business or home office. We have had this shredder for quite a few months now, and we absolutely love it. It is much quieter then our previous one, and is a little work horse.
The most attractive things about it are its ability to shred reasonably thick stacks of paper without choking. Works great, but it's HUGE. Be careful to lubricate the cutter according to directions or its life will be dramatically shortened.
It easily shreds 15 pages per pass for 15 minutes straight. This unit is great for any home office, and almost any small business as well. Easily shreds unopened junk mail, CDs, credit cards, and anything else I have thrown at it so far. This is definitely a quality product. I am amazed by how many sheets it can shred in one pass.
