Ferrari Challenge Reviews
Don't waste your money like I did I also race real cars and this game is the bottom of the barrel for driving titles. This game does not work with the logitech wheel, even though it recognizes it as a controller. I'll get right the point. There are no options for controller set-up, and there is no choice of views, even though the book states that the "select" button should change it. The sensitivity using the wheel is ridiculous, I can't even keep the car in a straight line at 30 mph.
just so i can tell all my frends not to get this game.how the game designers could release games this bad is beyond me. but that is the only good thing this game offers. if it was any thing like the cars in this game.in two days im just about finished with the game. let me start off stating that this game stinks.
in this day and age even a game with bad game play should have better graphics than this has. there is not enough set up in the cars. i race porsches and if the race cars handling was this bad. well the cars have poor brakes they understeer heavily with just a touch of oversteering as well. as for the game play. i will finish the game. i would never get to finish a race and as for the ferrari street car i have.i would sell it.
or i should say. what im thinking i cant put into words becouse peaple under the age of 18 might read this. i have the logitech driving force pro wheel that does work with this game as it should. im at a loss for words. and do it with the name of ferrari on it.
But you cant go out and buy upgrades like you can for GT4 etc. So i know that the PS3 has way better graphics, but this game could be much better. The sounds on this game are not very good, reminded me of the old Pole Position arcade game, very bad, lots of slam and bump sounds that is very unreal. I found that the info on the screen is hard to read, atleast on my set up, but would it hurt the developers to make the writing bigger.
I wish i had. Im not sure why , but even my GT3, GT4 games blow this one away as far as graphics go. i was very shocked to see how bad they are. Over all this game not very good, but i would say if you can wait, wait and find a used one on ebay or go to game stop in a few months and buy a used one for half the price or less. I have games i got years ago for my PS2 that have better graphics than this one.
It has a feature that you can change the set up of the car. The graphics are a C+ at best. Now as far as game play, its ok, lots of race tracks, lots of cool cars to win and buy.
Its game modes, arcade, trophy, quick play etc are ok, but for some reason i seem to get stuck in them, and even if you want to quit and go to the main menu it keeps taking you back in the same mode just the next race. But its a ferrari, yo dont need to upgrade it. weird.
EPIC FAIL. im not some old fart either, atleast on my tv the writing is small and most of it i cant read. I got this game kuz im a big Ferrari F1 fan and i love all Ferrari cars.
The feel of the car and how it handles is not very good either.
Before I buy it, I would like to know if it is compatible with my Logitech Steering wheel.
