in any case, at least it does its job pretty well. basically 2 pieces and some straps. not 15. get it if you want to make videos on your bike or in the car, etc. worth around 5 bucks. sure its a cool idea but this tiny gadget is a lot less complicated then you might think.
If you spend the time to change the the straps to some much stronger gripping Velcro the mount will be ok for some applications. the Velcro straps and instructions are close to worthless. the octopus type mini tripods work much better than this action mount. i ended up using electrical tape to hold it on my handle bars. the action mount, save your money or be prepared to modify it. i think some of the reviews are for the flip camera here, which is fine,.
Okay for a fixed support. You'd need also some non-slip rubber interface to a handlebar under it, also, so that it stays put. Not mechanically good enough to keep the camera from vibrating as it resonates with bumps in the ride. They may take the prize for hopeless directions, as they are. I give it a half hour to figure out as it stands. The directions ought to say that you cross the straps _after_ you run them through the respective eyelets.
It has met and exceeded my expectations. I purchased this product for use in the classroom and to make integrating technology into the classroom interesting and unusual.
