Flying Alarm Clock Reviews
I guess it is still effective. There were NO instructional papers in or on the box. It is perfect for mealmostbut I cannot figure out how to set it-Honest, I have a college degree and have had two other people try. I received this as gift.
I have successfully set the alarm for several days, and I managed the date, but I cannnot, for the life of me, set the time. Mine only has 5 buttons: Demo set snooze up and mode. The demo sounds like an airplane taking offseems loud enough to wake me. I am lying awake nights trying to figure this out, so I don't need an alarm anymore.
PSif anyone else can help me please explain in a review below. It has a different alarm for different days feature that I think is terrific. I can get the right # but it just keeps flashing.
I REALLY LOVED THIS PRODUCT GOOD QUALITY AND DID THE UNBELIEVABLE JOB OF GETTING ME OUT OF BED
I found one cheaper at our local drug store than it was offered for on TV. GRRR. It's a WONDERFUL and FUN idea. ">>>. I thought perhaps I got a "faulty" one. so I called the customer service number on the box- oh and by the way the number on the warranty card and box are different- likely a typo- but there is no way to tell which is the correct number so I had to call both.
then the best part. I got it at Rite-Aid for $[.]. So, not only did it not fly around the room or keep sounding the alarm until I put it back on it's base but now I have to reset both the clock and the alarm every morning. it falls off to one side. GRRRR.
Mine is made by "Absolutely New". if only it would work correctly. Only. the darn thing resets itself to 12:00 for both the clock and the alarm. but mine does not. The alarm goes off- with a half siren sound (like - wee-ooo- but only once then it stops completely) the ball/propeller doesn't LAUNCH from the clock. THIS looks EXACTLY like the FLYING ALARM CLOCK I bought there. The other is "enter your access code now".
What the one I bought is supposed to do: You install 4 AA batteries (which it doesn't tell you anywhere on the box or on the paperwork inside by the way). Great idea for anyone who has a hard time getting out of bed, right. One is a voice mail box. Before I give my review let me say that I DID NOT buy this item from Amazon or from the seller here.
So, if the one offered here is from a different company then perhaps it works. I saw this on QVC and wanted one for my 4 year old son. You set the clock, you set the alarm. When the alarm goes off the the ball with the propeller is supposed to launch into the air 9 feet (according to the ads and QVC) and fly around the room while a siren-like alarm sounds until you get up out of bed, find the "flyer" and return it to it's base.
what mine actually does: I set the clock and the alarm.
