Fossil FX2008 Wrist PDA with Palm OS

Check more than just the time with this Wrist PDA watch, a revolutionary personal organizer cleverly disguised as a stylish wristwatch with a black leather strap. This oversized watch, powered by the Palm OS platform, can store hundreds of contacts, check your calendar, and make a To-Do list from its surprisingly big 8MB of memory. Other features include convenient drop-down menus, alarm reminder window for recurring appointments, a memo pad, and a selection of different time and date displays to give your Wrist PDA its own personalized "dial" when not in PDA mode. A stylus is integrated into the buckle.

Fossil FX2008 Wrist PDA with Palm OS Reviews

weight. B&W screen less and had a built in stopwatch. this watch is by all means cool, but it would be better if it weighed about 3 oz. the worst things are. i love how all the apps for previious palms work on it and people are instantly impressed by its features. size.

Other than that, I think functionality is the same, although I believe Fossil offers several different bands. Another review asked why this one is more expensive than the other one. I THINK it may be because this one ships from Amazon, and the other from TigerDirect.

The version of Palm OS supplied would not install because of a permissions issue. Even if it would have the watch is far to heavy wih its metal case. Put it in a plastic case to save weight and improve on the battery life and maybe I'll buy one and keep it. I tried one of these watches with Mac OS 10.4.2.

I will buy it. and its Abacus AU low-priced series . They are of the same functions . but what is the difference between. same system . Fossil's FX expensive series &.

I am never without my watch, so now I am never without a PDA. That is why I was willing to pay for a Fossil FX2008 Wrist PDA. Sure, I could buy a Palm OS PDA with more and newer features. That is what I did and it works for me. Someone inventive could put the body in a hard case and turn it into a pocket watch/PDA. Then you still have the stylus in the band for emergency.

Most PDAs are easier to forget, loose, or break than this unit appears to be. If you do not like the stylus in the watch band, you can buy a combination pen/stylus. What good would it do if I forget it at home or broke it in my pocket. I know of no other Palm OS PDA that is as small in diameter.
