Then after we couldn't get them to work & consulted Nintendo we found that the wireless adapter doesn't work for all multi-player games & there are only a few games that will work with the wireless version. So I bought another one for my son. I bought one of these for my daughter as a gift & found that I need one for each GBA or SP. Some gift.
Also, with GBA, you have to have the newer games that says wireless. You can hook up with multiple players using the wireless. Recommend this device and the GBA TV Adapter. Its easy to put on and take off. We had a cable go bad on us, and I could never find a replacement. We no longer have to be within cable reach. Its not backwards compatible.
She and I play pokemon on GBA. but at least in the same room. Finally, I saw the wireless device. The wireless is faster than cable. Note, you can't use the wireless and cable, its either/or. Matter of fact, we have more fun now.
I bought this for my daughter.
My children enjoy being able to play gameboy games together now with the adaptor.
I don't really believe it deserves 5 stars, 4 would be enough, but I'm just doing this to bring up the avarage.
The price for buying it sepratly is almost half of the game with the wireless adapter included. This accesory is great as it allows you to play certain games wirelessly, but make sure you buy it INCLUDED with the Pokemon game. So, save some money and buy this with the game.
