If you're tired of squinting at your phone's tiny LCD panel, treat yourself to the GE 29016S Caller ID Box. The three-line display is nearly 3 inches long, and it simultaneously provides the name, number, date, and time of the call in the order in which the calls were received. The panel can display Spanish, French, or English titles. The memory can hold up to 60 entries; simple buttons allow you to skip or delete specific calls, and with the battery-operated memory backup, you won't lose calls if there's a power outage. GE provides a one-year limited warranty on parts and service.

GE 29016S Caller ID Box Reviews
In the 50's and 60's, GE's slogan was, "Progress is our most important product." I guess now it's changed to, "Don't look for quality; we can't be bothered." It is amazing that their engineers didn't think of it while this non-engineer did. This unit, however, will not hang on the wall without homemade modification. One feature, or lack thereof, is most surprising. This caller ID is no exception. It would have been a simple matter for GE to have engineered the usual inverted keyholes in the back of this thing and include two standoff screws. From kitchen ranges to water filters, I have generally found GE products to be among the most poorly designed available. Most of these units are designed to either sit on a desk or table or hang on the wall; the consumer has a choice.
Nice small footprint and seems to be decently made. Nice little unit. I have found this to work just fine. No problems reading the display in regular daylight.
There are several contrast settings, but I still have to light it up to read it. after I turn on a lamp so I can see the display. Hey, for the price, it's just fine. It's small and it tells me who's calling.
ok, stop pestering me to review this thing. Yep it's a caller ID box, and it keeps track of incoming phone numbers.
Other than that, it serves it's purpose. The caller ID box works fine. We have to prop them up right at a better angle to be able to read. On my desk it lays too low and is hard to read because of the glare. The only drawback is that the unit is very "short".
