GE Corded Bedroom Phone with Call Waiting/Caller ID Reviews
This is just what I wanted with clock and radio together, but the light is very bright and if I had known that would have gone with a different brand.
This is a nice looking Phone/Clock Radio. Specs note an internal antena. I only listen to the local FM station, and the sound is bad as it goes in and out. However the Radio performance is very poor. I wish I could have an external antena with good reception. I replaced a Magnavox unit with good stereo sound.
And I love the large display. It could go back if things fail soon. I still use the radio and clock on my 18-year-old model; the handset quit working 12 years ago, so it is off of the old unit. I bought this for $10 less at my local Target Store, and have had it for one day. I just wanted a phone that would show the Caller-ID when the power goes out; easy with the 9V battery. This is my second GE phone/clock radio. I put it in a room we all pass through so we can see if there are any calls at a glance.
I was looking for a corded phone to put on my nightstand. I can see who the caller is without turning on the light or picking up the handset. This phone is perfect because the information is on the front of the phone and is well illuminated.
A phone/alarm clock all in one. A must have. Also between my alarm clock, lamp, tissue box, glasses, etc there wasn't much room for a phone. Then I found it. I can't tell you all the times the phone would ring late at night and I would reach to answer.no phone on the night stand. And it even has Caller ID so you don't have to answer annoying calls in the middle of the night. Duh.they had this new invention.a corded phone that can't be carried off.
Somebody (probably me) had carried off the cordless. Every bedroom should have one. It finally hit me. For years I had a cordless phone on my night stand. So I went on a mission to pick out a corded phone that couldn't run away, but discovered there aren't many out there.
