The only thing I was disappointed about this phone is that is does not have the ability to use ear phones. That's a must in my book, so will have to put this one in the bedroom.
Easy to program and operate. For the low price this is a great phone. Thanks GE and Amazon. More than meets my cordless phone needs.
I replaced it with a Uniden. The battery quit holding a charge. I bought this phone less than a year ago and it now won't work.
The phone worked well though. My phone worked great for five years. I think the phone is good for the price. I could go as far as the front of the house before I lost reception. I lived in a basement apartment and got good reception. About a month ago, the phone wouldn't displayed one or two digits when a phone number appeared. Now, it's not working at all.
Purchased this phone because neighbor and I both have same 5.8GHz phone which causes interference and unexpected hang ups. Use of 2.4GHz phone eliminated problem. Good value for lower frequency phone which has same range and clarity as higher frequency models. Unit very easy to set up using manufacturers simple to follow instructions.
