Fun That Engages Their Imagination
A 2006 AMBY design award winner, the Discover and Play stimulates and entertains your baby by introducing her to colors, shapes, textures, animals, nature, language and movement. Intended for babies four months old and up to 30 pounds and 32 inches tall, the Discover and Play is sturdy, durable and safe. Three height positions make it a snap to adjust the activity center to fit your growing baby, and stationery kick-stands help limit mobility when it's time for more focused play or a quick snack. The Discover and Play is also easy to care for. Simply machine wash the cloth seat pad in cold water on the delicate cycle, and line dry. To clean the plastic or metal parts, just use a mixture of soap or detergent and water. The Discover and Play has a 27-inch diameter and an overall height of 30 inches. It also weighs 14 pounds, and requires three "AA" batteries (not included). About Graco
In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. For 11 years, the firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers. I highly recommend it. It's a great developmental toy. Excellent quality and safety. He is now almost 6 months and is still enjoying it. I purchased this activity center for my son when he was 4 months old and he loves it.
Love this item. My first grandaughter used this until she could walk we bought another one for our second grandaughter.
She can't tip it over, but she can move it all over the place. The spinners no longer make sounds and my daughter can pull the book right off. That said, she does love playing in it for about 20 minute stretches. Standing up in it has made her legs and upper body stronger, too. This is described as "rocking," but that means an active child (like my 8-month-old) can rock it right off its stand.
She enjoys being able to move herself around and rediscovering each new toy. We've had this for a few months now and already had to order two replacement toys. This one doesn't have it. The concept of these activity centers/ "exersaucers" is great, but they need to have extremely sturdy construction. She especially loves the animal sound/ music box.
My twins love this exersaucer-like toy.The toys are all bright and fun to look at not to mention to play with too.I like that the musical box takes AA batteries so that they can be replaced when they go out.It was very easy to assemble as well.We give this a 5 star plus.
The only thing that i think would improve it would be more music and lights, but we still love it just the way it is too. We got this because we watch alot of the baby einstein movies.We use it every day.
