I have played and beaten all the Guild Wars games and the expansion. With no monthly fee, storylines of decent to excellent quality, and simple and verstatile skill combinations - Guild Wars is one of the best games I have encountered. In almost 3 years of play I still have plenty yet to do in the form of elite missions, elite quests, obtaining bonus titles, and 10 very different professions to do it with.
The story is incredible - the players characters literally hunt down and kill a God. This was the last chapter of the GW saga, followed only by an expansion pack. little to no replay value though. The introduction of heroes to the game redefined the game. This Chapter introduced a lot of innovation to the franchise however, the gameplay for this chapter did not measure up to the other two preluding this one.
Also the free trial that comes with it has been used by a friend of mine, so everyone wins. For the price, cant beat this bonus pack. I mainly got it for the extra character slot which is $10 by itself. The bonus weapons have come in quite handy.
