Start a Band...the Guitar Hero Way Guitar Hero World Tour transforms music gaming by expanding Guitar Hero's signature guitar gameplay into a cooperative band experience that combines advanced wireless instruments with gameplay modes from Guitar Hero 3 as well as new gameplay modes unique to GHWT. The game features a slick redesigned guitar, an authentic electronic drum kit, and a microphone, as well as a Music Studio music creator that lets players compose, record, and edit their own rock ?n? roll anthems. Wireless Instruments New to GHWT is a redesigned, more responsive guitar controller, which features a touch-sensitive slide bar on the neck that allows the player to play through certain song passages without needing to strum. Check out the drum kit featuring three drum pads, two raised cymbals, and a bass kick pedal. The drum controller combines larger and quieter, velocity-sensitive drum heads with soft rubber construction to deliver authentic bounce back and is easy to set up, move, break down and store. the kids love the game. but one of the pieces didnt have the wire connection. it came out. so now we can't use that particular piece. so they can't use the drums, only the guitar and microphone
I bought this for my 16 year old Down syndrome/Autistic son for Christmas and he just loves it!!! I have to admit, I (mom) love to play it too, especially since it's something fun we can play together. I just set his instrument on beginner and so far, I'm only on easy mode, but it's enough to keep us jamming. Get it! It's a great family activity for us since we do spend a lot of time at home.
The game is interactive and you can have three people playing at the same time as a guitarist, drummer, and singer. Fun for all ages and you can pick your skill level as a band or you can play individually.
I purchased this game for my 22 yr old daughter for Christmas. She borrowed a friend's guitar for bass and she and I and her twin played the game into the wee hours of the next day! The songs are great and I absolutely loved the drums although we couldn't get past the medium portion (LOL!!). She took it back to college with her and now she plays it everyday! This game is so wonderful I am going to purchase it for my Wii gaming system I just bought! It is completly addictive and fun!! I would recommend it for family and friends to enjoy!
