GUN Reviews

Gun is one of the only western games ever made, and there are reasons for that (a.k.a. You can also scalp your enemies if they're still alive on the ground with your trusty knife. GAMEPLAY: As I said before, this game is a third-person shooter, and it is a bit of first-person as well. I don't like western movies. But the game does manage to make you forget these problems most of the time. You can kill enemies most of the time, but the detection is there at times. Gun seems to want to be GTA, except in the Old West, and it could have been a spectacular one if developer Neversoft had worked out some kinks in the design choices. You also kill some bandits too.

GRAPHICS: This game still holds up pretty well for a game from 2005, but I have some gripes about the level designs because they're a bit boring and some of the towns in the game look too much alike. You spend a lot of your time riding horses and even complete some training on how to ride them. You mostly spend your time shooting Indians to protect bridges, wagons, and towns from being destroyed. I loved how you can blow an enemy's head off with a well-placed shot. So it won't kill you to try this game. the porno game Custer's Revenge for Atari 2600). You build things like molotov cocktails and set things on fire like people, dogs, and horses.

Mostly because they're boring and not very interesting to watch. You can buy items on this game as well, and you money comes from completing missions and side-missions like hunting down a wanted fugitive or killing whole groups of bandits. THE GOOD: Lots of blood, lots weapons, lots of enemies to kill, interesting story, funny ways of recovering health, horse-riding is fun, good actors, tons of missions, good music, easy game, and good graphics. THE BAD: Missions are over too soon, some missions are too much alike, and some collision detection problems. After all these good things why only a 7.75.

WHAT THE GAME IS: You take the role of a man named Colton who is seeking revenge for the murder of his father during a hectic gun battle on a steam boat. The missions are over too soon and some of the wanted missions feel too much alike. You can even make horses trample people on the streets of western towns. You can sneak up behind someone and take them hostage or kill them. The aiming seemed to be accurate, but it felt like there was some collision detection problems.

To recover your health you drink Whiskey with a simple press of up on the d-pad. OVERALL: It's worth a buy, and it's not very expensive either.

Regardless, Gun is an enjoyable romp of a third-person shooter. Overall though it looks pretty good, and it's loaded with gore.

SOUND: The voice-actors are actually pretty good, the way the guns sound seem accurate, and the explosions are a nice touch as well. The only western movie I actually liked was 3:10 To Yuma, it was an enjoyable movie that every moviegoer should see.

This game is loads of fun and there is a lot to do. So he's hunting a psychotic man known as "The Preacher" and travels to many western towns in search of this man to kill him.

MUSIC: Fits the western theme nicely, and it doesn't suck either especially during the gun battles. It's no Resident Evil 4, Max Payne or Advent Rising, but it's fun.

-You chop up Indians with a knife. -You can ride horses. It looked good, but it had a little to much blood. -You can hunt people down.

-You get to start a showdown. -Arms and legs can get shot off. Its a good game. Now for the bad things. This is what he likes. -You start up a bar fight.

He would shoot their heads off,But overall he said its a good game. -You can cut off the scalp. -You hunt animals. I got this for my son and he said it was a great game.

-It has good music. -You can play poker. But not for kids. -You can shoot heads off. -You can travel a long distance.

But still a lot of blood.

This is a fantastic game. I've played it all the way through at least 3 times already. A little short, but outstanding.

I have played this game before and the game is fun but I bought this game and I still can't get it to work and I bought brand new.

Hurting innocent people causes the law to come after you, but killing criminals is loads of fun (no pun intended). Although the game is free-form, there are a few linear missions, you have to finish through. +excellent music. You will see rivers and lakes in the levels, but you cannot go swimming. When you travel through towns you will find NPCs (non player characters) walking about, chatting, there is even random crimes taking place.

There has so many fun things to do; you can ride any horse that is not being used, you get an assortment of weapons like, pistols, rifles, shotguns, dynamite and bow with arrows. +excellent level design. First let me get the negatives out of the way. +excellent A.I. Negatives aside, GUN this is still excellent and should not discourage you from making a purchase.

Kids should not be playing this; for adults only. So if you like old west actions or western movies and wished a good game existed; this is the one for you. +blood and gore. You have huge free-roaming levels. Shootouts can be bloody at times as you can make headshots and blow people's brains out.

-some towns feel a bit too empty. -a few areas have invisible barriers. Gun is a third person shooter for the XBOX. -you cannot swim. to prevent you from roaming too much. The best way to describe this game, is Grand Theft Auto meets the old west.

GUN can be exciting, or it can also be laid back if you choose to play that way. All these are nice touches and add the atmosphere of the gameplay, but the towns feel a bit empty. +weapons can be upgraded. +excellent action.

Walking to certain areas of the map will be blocked by an invisible barrier; which subtracts from the fantasy. +excellent voice actors. +fun side quests. Pros:. +free roaming levels. There are a lot of elements which will remind you of GTA; except of course you're a cowboy instead of a gangster.

Cons;. and needs more people. You play a gunslinger out to avenge the death of your father, who was murdered by outlaws. +excellent controls. -some levels are linear. You can make stealthy kills with a knife and cut people's throats, become a deputy keep the peace in town, be a bounty hunter and bring down outlaws, hunt bears or wolves, do side missions for other characters or just follow the storyline.

+excellent sound effects. +best cowboy game available. You go From town to town and accomplish missions which propell the story or take a side-quest to earn more money and develope your skills. +excellent story.
