Halo 3 Legendary Edition
Halo 3 is the third game in the Halo Trilogy and the thrilling conclusion to the events begun in Halo: Combat Evolved. Master Chief returns to finish the fight, bringing the epic conflict between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire human race to a dramatic, pulse-pounding climax. The Covenant occupation of Earth has uncovered a massive and ancient object beneath the African sands, an object whose secrets have yet to be revealed. Earth's forces are battered and beaten. The Master Chief's AI companion, Cortana, is still trapped in the clutches of the Gravemind, a horrifying Flood intelligence, and a civil war is raging in the heart of the Covenant. It's all been building to this--a desperate, final war that leads to a soul-shattering climax of epic proportions. Take control of Master Chief to defeat the Covenant and destroy the Flood as a measure to prevent the annihilation of the human race. Online multiplayer, the game builds upon the party-based social multiplayer experience from Halo 2 with new weapons, vehicles, maps, gametypes, and added customization features.

Halo 3 Legendary Edition Reviews
Most of the guns sound like toys and Master Chief looks like he's made of plastic. I love first person shooters, I've played tons of them making me wonder why this game is so praised. I'm missing something I'm sure since the game wasn't what people were telling me it was. In short Halo 3 is nothing short of a generic shooter which isn't bad, but it doesn't live up to the hype in the least, it's nothing ground breaking and in my opinion it's not worth 60 dollars never the less the price you pay for the helmet pack, a good rental at best. Half of the aliens are comedy relief who crack lame jokes, run around like Ewoks with laser guns. The helmet is nothing more than a tiny decoration for you to put on a shelf to gather dust and house spiders, making the price insane for something like this. The other groups of aliens run around in colorful suits of armor making them less of a threat and more of a joke.
It was generic shooter all the way and even more so online. A minor complaint I have is the game isn't HD, it's 640p scaled up to 720p so that's standard definition confusing me since it's supposed to be a next gen game. The ally AI was a joke, most of the time I'd have to drive around dodging while my AI lackie missed every shot. The game seems to want to be the movie Aliens but more light hearted. Taking the turret over I had nothing more to do than laugh as he plows head on into the enemy tank and I get turned into bacon strips.
awesome game, like the extra helmet too, the updates make it a lot more enjoyable
Only a nerd of colossal proportions would find this cool, and this one did. DVD extras - Worth the price of admission alone: The three main guys behind the primary aspects of the game commenting the viewer through every cut scene from Halo 1 & 2. . 3. As a (rabid) fan, I couldn't think of a more interesting investment of a couple of hours. The thing is, if you can't describe by the meter where the cave people in the game are, you probably wouldn't pick this up. Appx.
Part three of the greatest video game in human history.check. But if you're somehow on the fence, I'll take a shot at describing what the Legendary Edition provides. 1. 9 inches of Master Chief goodness. And far from a self-congratulatory attempt at promotion, the entire dialogue is a hilariously self-deprecating voyage of perfectionists pointing out the plot holes and oversights of both the cut-scenes and series itself. A nice display size without being intrusive. No buyer's remorse here.
Many additions without subtraction in the ongoing process of best game design ever.check. It might seem that an all-plastic Spartan head would be lame and fake looking. But it ain't. . If you can, you probably already have it. The Helmet - Wow.
Throw in a primitive, yet satisfyingly challenging game of Warthog physics, some artistic rendering aspects and you've got the basic blueprint. DVD extras - Torn straight from the pages of the Halo Bible are (very scientific looking) descriptions of the various Halo species, including population and interstellar capability ratings. 2. It was like candy to hear Jones, Staten and O'Donnell elaborate on the foibles of production, failed concepts and what might have been in the Halo universe. My only issue is that it's so close to being actual size, why not make it actual size.
the legendary edition extras are well worth the extra cash this was a pretty short halo episode, but it's a sweet online game.
so lastly, like my title., it's definitely not for the faint-hearted nor light-headed. while playing the game, it gave me the feeling as if i'm in the story. sometimes to the point that i get dizzy because i'm too into it. i haven't heard of much bad opinions about this game at all. to me it's another microsoft success. definitely makes a great gift; i've given away a couple already. story line is good too. the graphics are pretty intense.
perhaps because i do get slight motion sick if i concentrate too much into the whole environment. i've had this game for a few months already., and to me, this game is probably one of the by-far most talked about game in recent 'history'. i had to put down the controller a couple times to rest. this whole package (legendary edition) basically includes the game, the making of the game dvd, as well as a commemorative helmet which you can't wear (although it'd be cool if you could).
