Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour Reviews

You can't go wrong buying this game for any girl - and how often can you say that about a game. Bought this game after seeing the glowing-mom reviews. I'll add mine to them, now that my 10 yr old has beat the game. The shopping is crazy-fun. Her only complant was that it wasn't longer. I love how you are required to 'tour' and basically 'work' to fund your shopping addiction. Definate five stars all the way for mixing exercising, dancing, fun, and fantasy. This game is pure goodtimes and fun, and I think it's a wonderful confidence builder for girls, especially, but if I had a son, I'd buy it for him and encourage him to tour the world, too.

I would highly recommend this game for the "tween" set, it has enough to do that they don't get tired of it, but it isn't too tough that they get frustrated. I bought this for my daughter for her 8th birthday based on the good reviews I read online. The reviews were not wrong, my daughter and her friends LOVE this game. It is even kind of fun for Mom to play along, whereas with other games such as "Littlest Pet Shop", I am bored to tears. They can dance, shop, and even strum the guitar with Hannah.

You practice dance moves and get to go shopping. My girls Love Hannah Montana so we had to get this game. They played it once or twice and that was it. 4 months later they decided to try it again and now they like it. Now that the price has dropped on the game, I would recommend it. At first they did not like it.

So early on, this resulted in a lot of frustration for everybody. Most of the voice-acting appears to be "sound-alikes" and not the actual performers from the show, although in some cases it is difficult to tell. The better your timing, the better your score, and the more fans and money you earn. Some of the movements are tightly timed, requiring extremely quick transitions from one hand to the other. Initially this game proved very frustrating for her, as the Wii controls just never seem to be accurate enough to understand what you're doing, and sometimes the indicated on-screen action is not clear enough. The game makes it too easy to buy everything. Once my daughter figured out the motions, she actually started enjoying the "dance" sequences.

It takes some time to find the exact motion that works for the indicated motion. The only thing I don't agree with everything costs the same, exactly "one shopping bag", which I refer to as "a dollar". You play along with the actual studio recordings of the songs, and the sound quality is near-CD quality. Even my wife watches the "performances" as my daughter plays. Overall, this is a good game for young girls. Whatever is purchased from the stores can be worn by Hannah in the game, even during the performances. After two or three tries, however, things started to change. For the cost, it will be a welcome addition to your Wii collection, and should have substantial replay value for quite some time.

Everything costs the same, from earrings to jeans, but I think it would be a better idea if things cost different amounts, to force young minds to "budget". The game includes a shopping component which integrates with the back-stage activities and performances. I am writing this review based on my 7-year old daughter's use of the game and my involvement when she needs my help. There are some interesting cut-scenes between the cities you visit, which include some of the same campy comedy present in the show, and even a laugh-track. However, this is good because I think it teaches young children eye-to-hand coordination, forces them to look ahead to the next several movements, and teaches them a bit about timing and rhythm. There are also harder difficulties. This game is nothing more than a rhythm game, with the exception that, instead of button mashing, you replicate the indicated motions that appear on-screen.

It passes the time, gets them moving, and teaches them a thing or two about coordination and rhythm. The computer-animated performances are interesting to watch. This is my only complaint about the game. The music in the game is excellent.

You have to perform at concerts, and then earn points to purchase clothing and shoes. I have a girl with a short attention span, and she just played it for hours. Just purchased this Hannah Montana Game for $18.50 on sale at ToyRUS.

It is easy to play. Too funny. The boys wanted to play, but she said, no it's mine. If she can stay still and play for hours, then it's a hit cause she rarely ever stays still.
