Hawking HiGain Directional Corner Antenna, indoor, 15dBi - HAI15SC
Hawking Technology's HAI15SC, 2.4GHz Hi-Gain Wireless Corner Antenna, boosts your wireless signal strength from 2dBi (standard) to 15dBi! A large problem with many wireless networks is the poor coverage area of standard Wireless networks. Hawking solves this problem with a Hi-Gain antenna that attaches directly to the external antenna connector of your Wireless Access Point or Wireless Network Adapter. By increasing the strength of your external wireless antenna, your Wireless Network distance, signal strength and performance is significantly improved. Simply point your Wireless Directional Antenna in the direction of your Access Point or Network Adapter and easily extend your signal range and quality. The Hi-Gain Corner Antenna is the perfect solution for providing Wireless coverage in very large rooms, conference halls or buildings. The high power level of the antenna ensures that every corner of your application will be covered. The Hi-Gain Corner Antenna has been specifically designed for easy installation in the corner of a wall. This also allows for easier coverage of an entire building, room or hall. Hawking's Hi-Gain Antennae are designed to work with all Wireless Access Points, Wireless Routers and Wireless Network Adapters that have removable external antennae. By using the popular Reverse-SMA connector, the Hawking Hi-Gain Antenna can be used on most wireless devices. This means you are not restricted to just Hawking Wireless products. If you have another brand's Wireless Device with the same connector you may still attach the Hawking Hi-Gain antenna to it. Hawking has also provided added support by including two antenna connectors for specialized wireless devices. Simply unscrew your current antenna and screw on Hawking's Hi-Gain antenna and you're ready to go!

Hawking HiGain Directional Corner Antenna, indoor, 15dBi - HAI15SC Reviews
Bought one to use in my mobile wifi/lan disaster relief vehicle, otherwise known as a box van. Plus this bad boy isn't weather proof and it doesn't come with a pole mount, but hey, it wasn't made for that. It was made to mount in the corner or a large unobstructed room, like a theatre, and distribute signal in a wide swath, and that is does well, but for the money is does this in spades. The antenna is great for a quick, drive by link to a local hot spot, much quicker than booting up my 4 watt wifi with a Trendnet TEW-0A24D directional outdoor antenna. Well, Daniel Ulanday pretty much says it all, there is not really much to this type of antenna. But then this Hawking antenna isn't going to transmit half a mile.
Hookup was easy and it gave me full-house range that I didn't have before. Well, it probably gives the rest of the neighborhood better access, too, but that's another story. This antenna works great.
I can get a working signal with this when none of the other antennae work well (or at all). I mainly use it with my laptop, with a high gain Engenius USB wireless adapter (Engenius EUB-362 EXT), but I have used it with other wireless adapters I have too, with the same great results. Very simple antenna, outstanding results, reasonable price.
My only complaint is the cable is a bit thin, and I put some duct tape on the antenna to support the cable where it enters the antenna, as I was concerned to flexing here over time might cause the cable to break but it looks like it would be easy to replace if that happen - should get less cable less with a thicker cable anyway. 90 degree horizontal and vertical coverage. I tried a LOT of portable antennas - the commercial Cantenna, at least three different flat patch antennas, omni-directional antennas beyound counting - antennas from Asus, D-Link, Linksys, Edimax, Pacific Wireless but none of them came close.
It gave an increase of about 2 bars on my signal strength meter but more importantly, it increased the reliability of the connection to my wife's computer and my WiFi radio. It is well worth the price. I purchased this antenna to increase the signal strength to my repeater on the other side of the house.
The Hawking is supposed to be a 15db unit, but it did little better than the +2dB stock antenna on the Alfa network adaptor, even when pointed directly at the access point. I returned this unit. I compared this unit to a +7db dipole antenna which cost one fourth as much, and the dipole pulled in twice as many access points with a much stronger signal.
