The Hello Kitty figure makes a great snooze button. I love this clockit's a cute and creative design, and I particularly love that the lemon slice is functional. However, since most clocks don't even have lights at all, I don't consider it a significant drawback. It's good for finding things in the dark without disturbing roommates or partners. One thing I wish this clock had is a brighter nightlightit's not quite bright enough to read by without straining your eyes.

But overall, definitely recommend for girls of all ages: ) My daughter loves this clock. light is wonderful. She listens to the radio and the night. It does get a little hot (the lemon light) and it is difficult to see the time in the day.
I love it, she loves it too. It is the most adorable little radio I've seen. We love it. I bought this clock radio to add to my 3 yar old's Hello Kitty room theme. I leave the music on all nite while she sleeps and the nite light helps keep away the "boogyman". 5 stars.
I bought it for my daughter and it was exactly as advertised. I was very happy with the Hello Kitty alarm clock. There are no loose buttons or fragile parts. Cute as can be. The cute little lemon wedge acts as the nightlight.It is rather dim, but I guess it's supposed to be.The base of the clock is a small pink saucer which lends to the appearance of a tea-cup.Overall it seems very sturdy & well made. The little pink buttons on top are radio and alarm settings.Any daughter, neice, or other girl in your life would be thrilled with this clock-radio, nightlight.
