the graphics and explosions are still amazing years later. The music is inferior to the first. certainly a must play, just like the original. the bone chilling groan of a ruptured capital ship brings these metallic ships to life.
An extremely fun (albeit difficult) game, that not only forces you to find good combinations and formations of ship types and numbers, but also forces you to think in 3 dimensions.
I'm so glad I got it. This is a awesome game and it came really fast.
Recommended for those who want to pick up or relive gold moments in gaming history as one might with Starcraft, Diablo etc. An easy to play and very intuitive game experience. A compelling story and far ahead of its time real time combat throws you into space warfare on a grandscale. It is an old one but I had to revisit this classic.
Recomend downloading patch (homeworld2_update_en_10_11). P.S. I do wish i had did a little more research i might have sprung for the Sins of a Solar Empire which is made by the same people but even more game play.
The price was great. Works with Vista 64 bit Ultimate OS. Amazon is the way to buy with gas going up.
I still like my choice and I will wait for the price of the new game to come down a bit. I really like this game. Might want to check both out.
