Forget refilling cartridges. These original HP work best and are at a very. good price with free two day delivery as a Prime member.
Letta Meinen Last longer than the compatible cartridges with truer colors. Very expensive so hope the price of these can be lowered soon.
Off-brand ink, at least what I've bought before, also work well, but I'm not sure about their fade resistance. If you have an HP inkjet printer and don't use it frequently, as I don't, I can say I've never had one cartridge go dry on me or become clogged from disuse. It's good ink.
I've had multiple disappointments with refilled cartridges, so I only buy new. It has plenty of ink. From experience, there's no substitute for the real cartridge. That way, the quality is a known factor. In my 3620 HP printer, this cartridge lasts a good long time, and I print documents and photos. The HP28 cartridge is one of the best.
