Also you always have to put a lot of paper during printing in other way printer does not recognize that there is any paper at all even you put some. My little issue is the size of the printer which happens not to be so compact size how it was described.
My family prints a lot, and the HP P1005 is fast, and the toner lasts a long time. It is perfect for basic printing jobs. It works flawlessly, no jams or technical problems. A great value at the low price. I love this printer.
I got my printer very soon after I placed the order, it was extremely simple to set up, and it prints very quickly.
I didn't want a laser printer with a lot of features, just a simple machine that I could print on various size paper. I bought this printer to save some money on ink cartridges, and to print on some very thin paper that inkjet ink showed through. The only problem I had was with some information I was given. I would expect them to at least have some reference material that tells what is compatible. However, not one minute after opening the box I realized that the TYPE of USB port on the printer was not the same as the adapter. It's worked perfectly every time. I've not had any technical issues to speak of.
I asked whether the Bluetooth BT-500 adapter would work with this machine. I did try to find something online about this compatibility, but could find none. I was disappointed that a rep designated to answer questions about printers didn't know the difference between the various types of USB ports. So I ordered the adapter as well. Online I chatted with an HP rep on their site. I wanted to be able to print using my laptop. She assured me it would work because it had a USB port.
So far, I am very happy with the performance of this printer.
If you want a fun hour and a half though, contact their Tech support so they can ask you what operating system you have. I couldn't tell you how the print quality is on the printer. I can tell you it eats paper. because somehow that's related to paper jams. Second P1005. second one that will not print due to paper jams.
