HP PhotoSmart 325 Compact Photo Printer Reviews

HP said to just download and install the drivers off their website. Windows cannot install the printer either, it's just error after error. This does not work either. There is no "restart later" or "cancel" buttons after or during the installation.

I can't even review the products actual use because I can't get the damn thing to work. I've even paid someone to come over and try to install it but they run into the same problems. The software then rolls back and forces me to restart.

The bundled install disk was corrupted. There was not a single scratch on the disk but my computer, and a few friends, could not read the disk. I just have to wait till it screws up (or end the process in the task manager).

I've tried everything including manually installing the drivers that were unpacked by the drivers off the website and it's still missing files. After downloading and running the most up to date drivers I get an error every time saying at least one file could not be found. HP's software is horrible and their support hasn't helped me at all.

I probably printed for weeks before I even loaded the PC software on my laptop so I can print from my computer. I love this little thing. Can't be easier than that. What can you say. Pull it from the box, put in the cartridge, pop in a memory card, and print great photos.

affordable printer that prints a very good quality shot. a good buy indeed i have particularly enjoyed working with black and white cartridges.

All in all, the cheap price and good pictures makes this a good photo printer. Again, the pictures are good quality, but they do take some time to dry. I would suggest buying a usb cable as one is not included with the package. The pictures are good and it does not use too much ink, or so it appears. I got this printer not too long ago, and it has preformed pretty well so far. This might be because of the photo paper.

Don't believe me. This causes the prints to seem washed out and lacking dark contrast (not to mention using a large amount of ink).

If you have any sort of darkness, shading, or greys in there, they will be represented poorly. The only real drawback to this printer is the fact that it only uses a tri-color cartridge. Go to a local store, ask to see the examples, and compare it to other printers.

No black. The way this printer makes black (or shades of grey for that matter) is by combining all 3 colors to form a composite black. Yup, there is only cyan, magenta, and yellow.

I'm usually a fan of HP but I really feel they took a step backwards with the photosmart series. I was strongly considering buying this printer - until I saw my friend's prints she made with it.
