I foresee a return in my future. Not only that, but the picture quality could certainly be better. After recently burning out my old screen, I bought this and was very disappointed in the sound quality. This means you either have to unplug the sound cable or lower the sound drastically by using the monitor's settings. Whatever the sound is above a certain volume the screen makes a buzzing noise, even if nothing (music, videos, etc) is playing.

My previous monitor was a big bulky monitor that took up all my desk area. They have outstanding products & Customer Service that no one can beat. It is also an HP. This monitor takes up hardly any area plus it is so light weight. In my opinion, you cannot beat HP for anything. I love this monitor.

Great resolution. This was a replacement monitor. Shipped on time and as advertised. It is widescreen and looks great.

bought this monitor to replace a crt type compaq monitor ive had since 1999 and im very pleased i have reclaimed desk space and the color and clarity is very good i dont think i made a bad choice with this monitor and i highly would recommend it to anyone who wants a good flat screen LCD but does not want to spend a fortune getting it.

I do a ton of text work and this HP monitor is like getting a new pair of glasses amazing. And the 17-inch wide-screen is plenty large. Speakers aren't much, but I didn't expect them to be. Thanks to the monitor's small foot print (about 1/10th that of my old CRT), I have reclaimed my desk-top area. Ah, all that space.
