The part I did receive actually makes my 3rd gen. I didn't receive the item pictured. Don't waste your time or money with either. ipod play music garbled after around 30 seconds of playback. The product is junk (whichever product it is that I DID receive), and the company untrustworthy.
No problem keeping the ipod plugged in while driving and listening. Item does what it is supposed to do.
i was gonna buy 50 of this chargers.its not fair that they charge me 100$ for delivery.maybe they should consider for some discount opn the delivery for someone who is ordering 50 chargers.not fair at all.

That's my only problem with it. It's cheap, looks cheap, feels cheap, but seems to work just fine. Shipping seemed to take a little while.
