My older drive is 9 yrs old and still works great, but not with Vista, and is slower. Zip drives have been in use for several years and have proven very reliable. I wanted an internal drive since I had an available bay in my new HP tower. It works great and is faster than the external drive I use on my older Dell computer. Since this drive connects to the motherboard via an Eide/ATAPI cable I was a little unsure of it's performance compatability with Vista. The Iomega web site states that Windows Vista would support it.

Writes and reads faster than the older 100mb drive offered by this manufacturer. I recommend it for those dealing with colleagues/customers who can't/won't deal with CD R/RW drives for data sharing.
