Iomega Desktop Hard Drive, USB 2.0, 750GB - 33750 Reviews
It worked flawlessly and that is why I purchased this one. I am very pleased with both Iomega Drives so far. So far so good. I have recommended them to others. I had an Iomega 250GB drive but started to run out of space with pictures and music. The 250GB is now on my daughters computer so she can back up her pictures.
This is a great external hard drive. We use it to store movies, mp3's, and scanned documents. Easy to use and interface with your computer.
It's fast, backs up fast and would certainly recommend to others. So far I have experienced no problems with this unit. Received in record time. I needed additional storage for videos and pictures. In fact, bought two to provide an additional backup.
Google found that the drives will usually fail in the first 3 months if they are going to at the onset - its been one month and its been working splendidly. I think its great and I havent had any issues with it. Other than that it works well. I let it run for awhile and formatted it right off the bat when I got it just because I dont trust anyone and I was confused because there were really only just under 700 gigs being read on the drive which Ive heard about it always being under the number displayed but still - 50GIGS is a lot of freakin room which Id rather have than be told I had and didnt really have.
Since our computer is in our bedroom, these were all big issues for us. Either I have a bad model, or a have a different definition of "quiet" than other reviewers. I found this drive to be incredibly loud, and it vibrated my entire desk. Plus the blue light is really annoying especially when the lights are out.
