The one downside is the software, you have to make sure you get the settings correct both in Skype and the IPEVO software and get them both to open at login. The way it allows you to navigate through Skype is a plus. Other than that, it works well for the money and keeps me from paying the "man" and the wifey happy. Buttons are responsive and it feels solid. I bought this because my wife didn't like using the computer for Skype, we dumped the land line. It is a little smaller than expected, but sound quality works great for my situation. It made calling real easy.
Would recommend Saw this phone on the New York Times. Cool phone, nice to handle, cool voice. I wasn't looking back then but remembered it when I switched to Mac and wanted to continue using Skype.
This is a well rounded product: good design, easy to pack, easy to use, great voice quality, great echo cancelation. A must have. but the others I've tried also don't do a good job of echo cancelation. I love this product. It's hard enough finding gear for my mac.
awesome. I even saw that Skype was using it at the Festival de Cannes for celebs to call with. This is the best voice quality and best echo cancelation of all the products I've tried out there.
Apparently the "start skype" button doesn't work on Vista, but that's probably because it's a beta version of the driver, I guess it will get fixed.
Works great both on my Toshiba Satellite L45 running Vista and my iBook G4 running OS X 10.4.
It makes skype calls much more comfortable for a very good price (30 usd + s&h).

It's actaully a small application that you have to keep running.
It's very compact too.
