This thing cost me $0.42, but it was no bargain. If you use it to charge your iPod while you listen to it, your iPod will make a loud hissing sound. Maybe it's broken, but the shipping costs so much more than the product, I'll never know. Go with a reliable brand. At least mine does.
We've had this for about 9 months now and it works great, hasn't broken, hasn't hurt the ipod, and cost almost nothing including shipping. I'd buy it again, but I don't need to as this one is fine.
This thing is great. Much to my surprise (and delight). Honestly, I was skeptical when I ordered this product, thinking no way would it work for as inexpensive as it was. when I tried it out for the first time, it did exactly what it was supposed to do.
Yes, I get that NOW it says the correct information, but it was mis-advertised when I bought it. Grr. Annoyingly, AFTER I bought this cableafter it was confirmed, and shipped to me, and arrived, and I attempted to use it with my new iPhone 3G (only to get a "this device is not supported by iPhone" message and an alarmingly loud and persistent beeping from the iPhone) did the vendor change the item name and description to state that it is not compatible with the iPhone 3G.
Does not work for Iphone 3G but works great with my moms iphone.not that she has a car.or a need for it.
