Other than that I was surprised with the volume of the speakers which seem to fit anywhere, and can easily fill up a 256sqft room, but anything larger than that might have problems. First off the center channel didn't work at all, and if I plugged in the center channel it would mess up the left channel also. The means that it'll be common for these speakers to loose connection if you bend the wire enough times, or get it pinched by furniture. I stripped off the RCA plugs, and found the speaker wire to be quite thin, and easily breakable. The individual volume knobs work great for balancing out channels, but there's no total volume, or left right balance. Overall it's worth the price, but will be a hassle if you try using it for more than 1 device. Only 2 inputs both of which are RCA, and there's no easy way to switch between inputs either.
PS: If you don't have 5.1ch receiver, get one before using this. I was skeptical at first by the price and all but the moment I plugged this into my ps3 I could hear everything clearly now. The five speakers really bring a liveliness to the gameplay plus great sound for a great price.
It's great. It doesn't give a deafening, earth shaking experience but it gives definite depth to whatever you are watching.
It is particularly efficient for a smaller room though because the amount of cord given is not too much. The sound, again taking into account the price, is great as well. However, overall this was a great buy. It is also easy to set up. One fairly big con though is the tuner, which doesn't have an overall volume knob, so you have to adjust the volume of each speaker individually anytime you change the volume (so you have to find the perfect blend in volume among the speakers all over again). For the cost, this system is very nice. All I had to do is plug the audio cords from my PS3 into the central system and plug the speakers into the central system as well and it was good to go, with no additional charges.
It serves my purpose exceptionally well. This is a really good system, especially for the money. Just right in fact. I am very happy with this product.
