If you want something substantial - don't buy this. I like the smallness of the phone itself - be prepared for the smallness of its ring too though.
I decided to save some money and just get a 'basic' phone, no frills, no caller ID. hmm, cannot describe that noise.
I actually do use this to make calls. If you just want something that rings sometimes, this is a good choice.
I was so excited when I opened this. It kind of.
I definitely sleep through it though. If you just want something there in case you need to call for pizza and are out of minutes on your cell or whatever, there's no need to spend more than this thing costs, and it is small enough to stick in any corner.
Very small and good for that. Got it to hook up to an intercom. I wouldn't use it to make actual phone calls though.
