other than those things. well, i can't figure out how to get the picture to NOT be purple. i have black hair, and it seems to be lilac on the computer. its great. or the lights on the front of the camera. Also, i can not figure out how to get the microphone to work.
The camera works great, but it does not work at nightime as advertised. I emailed tech support and asked how to make happen (turn on led's) and was ignored.
It worked great and even in a low light situation. The camera was great for what I bought it for. Great buy I wanted to be able to communicate with my daughter who is almost 3000 miles away from me.
This is a value for money stuff with decent oicture quality. But the night vision is not clean as mentioned.
I got this to use with Skype. The resolution is poor, but the price is right. Enjoy. I works under Linux. The v4l driver module you will need is either the spca5xx or the newer gspca module. See newegg.com's website for more reviews on this product.
