Kingston 1GB Mini Fun Data Traveler USB Flash Drive (DTM/1GB) Reviews
The first one I bought; the blue retractable cap broke after a month, it is very fragile and can break easy. I just got another one and now it broke on the inside a week after getting it. its nice because its small, but it breaks easily fast on the inside and out. So I definitely wont buy a 3rd. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because its cheap, small, and I think it might of broke from over use the 2nd time.
I also like that it doesn't have a cap and instead a retractable cover for the connector. It is extremely small. This is a good thing, however it did seem to make it easy to lose. I only had this device for a few weeks before I lost it. It's a good product, but I realized that small isn't always the best thing.
1GB of space for next to nothing and it fits very nicely in my front pocket.
If I was expecting to use the Migo software I would have dropped the rating to three stars, but that isn't a big deal to me right now. However, it needed a quick-release for using with a keychain - I don't want to hang my entire keychain from my computer's USB port when I'm using the drive. -1 star. FYI.
I chose this particular drive over the dozens of other USB drives mainly due to its small size. during the setup there was an option to synchronize with my Mozilla Thunderbird email software, but that failed during the setup. I have Windows XP Home SP2 on a laptop. I wanted something small for my keychain.
it kept hanging during the setup and never worked at all. 2). I salvaged one from a little flashlight and it works pretty well but that should be part of the package. 1).
Also, I was very disappointed with the Migo sync software that came with the drive. For that purpose it is great.
It works, won't blow you away, but good for the price. It is a good deal for the price. The blue plastic section slides to protect the device this traveling, but it separated and broke with in the first week. This was easily fixed using super glue, but still think it should be noted.
