Kingston ValueRAM memory - 1024 MB - DDR II ( KVR667D2N5/1G ) Reviews

Luis Lugo the speed of my pc got i real push with this memory, i will buy the other to get my pc to the max. Kingston is a reliable mark.

I had no problems with this at all, but I was worried that because my other 1 GB RAM stick is 500Mhz there would be a problem; false alarm. Great price, better than Wal-Mart's price, even.

Next time i get two Ram is great works awesome no problems installing it.

I've read online that there is some kind of technical explanation for this, but it's a bit beyond my comprehension level. I added 2 of these to my existing rig, which already had 2MB of RAM. Make sure you know what you've got in your system (existing RAM, free slots, etc). before you buy this or any RAM for an upgrade. Either way, my computer is going a LOT faster now.

When I bought my system, PC Club wanted to charge an absurd price for this upgrade (like $160), so I decided to do it myself. Right now, mine is showing 3.5MB, which doesn't make a lot of sense. Be sure to your research beforehand. It was an easy install, and I have no complaints - except maybe that the 667 speed of this RAM is perhaps on the slow side. And Windows XP Pro has as a problem recognizing more than 3MB of RAM for some reason.

It's always best to upgrade with the same kind of RAM - Don't mix-and-match.

I have used kingston ram before. easy install and made a difference. good product and holds up well.
