Kodak EasyShare Photo Printer 500 Reviews

Kodak said they will try to fix it but they want to charge my credit card $100 just to look at it and I am must pay shipping and handling both ways. I have never been able to use it. The photo paper will not feed through the printer. I received this as a gift, I hate to think what was spent for it.

I can't even use it to transfer pictures onto my computer; that's how poorly it operates. I give up. Honestly, I'd much rather pay to have my photos printed professionally. I've owned this printer for three years; it was a wedding present from my brother-in-law.

It has a terrible time feeding the paper; I've tried different paper levels, but it just never catches the paper on it's own. It constantly gives me a message to turn it off for 10 seconds and then restart it. It takes several tries to print one picture and just isn't worth the hassle. The picture quality is alright, but definitely subpar compared to prints you'd get at the store. What's even more upsetting is how poorly the printer "works".

I LOVE to just beam my pics to the printer. I just buy a BUNCH when I find it. I have also downloaded various pics from the internet onto my SD card and made prints that way. I use my SD card as well as sending pics via bluetooth from my phone. This thing is a trooper. I have not had one single problem with it - ever. The bluetooth is a SUPER COOL feature.

The only drawback: Since its the older (BETTER) model, I am having problems finding paper and ink for it now. The screen was the main reason why I wanted this in the first place. that's too bad. My husband bought this for me for Christmas 2005 and I am STILL using it. I have noticed that the newer model (the 600, I believe) no longer has the screen.

find another photo printer. Buyer Beware. We had taken one back when the auto-feed stopped working and had BestBuy replace it, but then the new one immedietley didn't auto-feed right out of the box. We purchased three units, based on the great reccomondation from Best Buy.

So with a review of four products (five if you count the one we replaced at Best Buy), this is a poor choice for a photo printer. Please. Right now, one is making us manually feed the paper (it no longer auto-feeds), another had the same problem, but is now no longer functioning correctly, and the third is only starting to act up. A friend of mine who purchased this based on my high reccomndation (after the first week of use) is now also having an auto-feed problem (he's saying that he has to manually feed each page, but he's ok with it).

:(.

its stuck and there is no eject button that i can find. so i bought this photo printer and i put in my memory card which is quite small compared to the insertion slot. it worked and everything but how do i get the card out. please help.
