Much better than the VTech phone we had before which was always "searching for base". Love the speakerphone feature. Battery life is great and so far no problems with it at all. We've had this phone a month and it's pretty simple, easy to use, and works well. Love Panasonic.
It was convenient to enter the room and see at a glance if I missed a call. The phone and base are very nice in design and the handset has no external antenna. It still worked fine after nearly 10 years but an OEM battery was no longer available and I was getting poor performance from off-brand replacements.
Amazon sells this for less than Panasonic and it was shipped to me quickly. I had my choices. Panasonic with similar features. The phone and all of it's features work well. I needed to replace a 900mhz. They include Caller ID, Call Waiting with ID, Phonebook, Voice Mail,Voice Enhancement, Speakerphone, handset locater, battery charge indicator, and others. I bought this after researching Panasonics' Online Store.
One feature that my old phone had and this one doesn't is a flashing Caller ID light. Amazon did not have a choice of colors, but silver was fine. down to two, this model and a 5.8 Ghz phone. You can slip it into a pocket or attach a strap. I highly recommend this phone. Most of these are displayed on a LCD screen.
