Whether mounted indoors or outdoors, this 18-inch round analog wall clock reports the time, temperature, and humidity at a glance. This clock?s claim to fame is its precision time-keeping and the fact that it never needs to be set. A built-in antenna system receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn regulated by the atomic clock. Once you install the battery and choose one of four U.S. time zones, the clock automatically sets to the accurate time in hours, minutes, and secods, and continues to adjust itself six times daily. This low-maintenance clock even automatically adjusts for daylight savings time, so you never need to remember to spring ahead or fall back. As an additional perk, the clock features in the lower left area of the face a hygrometer that measures the percentage of relative humidity in the air. The lower right has an analog thermometer that reports the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. This clock works wonderful. It's big enough to see from our pool which is probably 20 feet away. I received this clock as a gift and have now purchased it for a gift for a family member. It's a high quality clock and looks great outdoors. I would recommend this clock.

The first clock didn't work but was promptly replaced by the company and it appears the replacement works better. The humidity and temp has been set several times and is not very accurate on the good and the bad clock. The first had a bad clock motor and was not returned to them.
fine. i have 10 la crosse products scattered about my home and yard. as some reviewers have noted, quality and durability are lacking from la crosse products. duh. i like the design, beauty, and functionality.
when i read in the owners manual that it wouldn't, i called la crosse. like others, i assumed, since this clock was advertised as "outdoor", that it would take rain and sun. i moved it under an overhang. they told me it would take light, but not heavy, rain. it works fine and looks great.
