He has had a blast with this set. And he has really enjoyed playing with it since it has been assembled. He has not been a Lego fan in the past. He put it together himself without any problem or help. I thought it would end up laying around the house, but I was wrong. He chose this at the store when he got some money saved up. My 7 year old son has LOVED this product.
I bought this for my nephew as a birthday present since he loves playing with Lego. I'm glad I got it since he really enjoys playing with it.
You should buy this toy because it's really really fun. I am 5 and i like this toy. The jewel at the top shines a little and there's a skeleton behind the wall and he scares Indy who runs through him. Some of the pieces are small but I put them together pretty well. I like the statues and the traps.
We did end up with a few extra heiroglyph stickerscouldn't find where they were supposed to go. Would recommend for any little lego fan, whether they are familiar with the movies or not. My 7 year old loved ithe's just starting to get into the more involved Lego sets (for his age). Otherwise, great little set. The snakes are a nice touch.
We also glue many of the parts to make them more durable in his play scenarios. It gives us time together, working quietly and talking about "Lego's and Life" while watching him get the satisfaction that he actually built the toy he gets to play with. Lego's teach patience and following directions. My grandson, at 5 1/2, has conquered sets past the age recommended on the package.
