Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Reviews
The different levels keep him interested and he looks forward to what is next. I bought this game for my son's 7th Birthday and it was a slam dunk. It is a must. I am very happy that I got this game for him. The only down side is that I have to force him to turn it off. all the characters are in the game. We are huge Star Wars Fans.
This game is purely awesome, despite the fact i have beaten the console versions several times, i still love playing it, it never lost its value, you still have lego city, stud fountain and all the same levels, including three boss battles from the first game.
There are a ton of unlockable characters and cheats, and plenty of things to collect in the game. This game has some silly humor in it, but the game play was solid and it captured the spirit of the movies very well. This is game well worth buying, and was a lot more fun than I expected. The graphics are solid for a PSP game. The controls are pretty straight forward and responsive. While I am a huge Star Wars fan ( at least ep IV-VI ), I thought that this game was going to be a dumb kids game.
I am 40 years old playing a Legos game, but I have to admit I was really surprised. The free play and timed challenge modes improve the replay value, and give it a ton of playtime. It has good sound effects and the music is exactly what you would expect. I am at 80% completion and have almost 40 hours in.
IS A EXCELLENT GAME AND THE PRICE IS VERY GOOD. RECOMENDED TO ALL. MY SON IS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS LEGO STAR WARS GAME.
You might think this is a kids game (and indeed, I bought it so my kids would have something to play on my PSP), but its great fun for all ages, thanks to a witty element that affectionately pokes fun at the Star Wars we all know and love. and, yes, the kids love it, too. Princess Leila scowl is wonderful. The short Darth Vader is a funny, too.
It's the only computer game I've ever played that makes me chuckle as I play it. When you shoot (or slap) Stormtroopers they fall to (lego) bits, the facial expressions are not always the same. The game is not overly simple, either, requiring you to work out the next steps, which may require different actions (building controls, switching characters, getting across gaps, disassembling baddies), but equally (even on the PSP) it's easy to control and never frustrating. I guess if you hate Star Wars on principle, you might not enjoy this gun, but I doubt even that.
