This replacement battery represents good value but does not last as long as the Panasonic it replaces.On my TZ 5 it lasted about 70% as long as the original before requiring a recharge.Given the huge price differential,I am willing to recharge more often.Otherwise,the battery works great.If you need a long day of shooting you might reconsider.
Bought 2 of these fron ADORAMA and I am not happy. I get about 50 shots w/ my Panasonic TZ5 camera and the battery is DEAD. My OE battery is good for 300-400 shots.
Les recomiendo que siempre tengan 2 baterías, la original con la que viene la cámara, en mi caso la Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5K, y otra de reemplazo para que nunca se pierdan ningún momento por tener la batería descargada. Carga perfectamente en el cargador original de la cámara y su precio es muy muy bajo. comparen y verán.
Fortunately, I brought the Panasonic battery along on that first day out and could go back to the car and change batteries. This battery cannot last for a normal vacation day of pictures. From then on I made sure to only use this battery at night while I was charging up the Panasonic battery for the next days shooting. I didn't notice until we went on vacation what a difference there is between this battery and the real Panasonic battery. Don't depend on this battery. It will let you down.
it is good only as a back up, but not as the primary battery. if you want the performance equal to a factory unit buy a factory unit. this is a product that holds true to the statement " you get what you pay for" it doesn't come close to the performance on the factory battery. if your primary runs out and you only need a few more pictures this is fine.
