Lexmark PrintTrio X75 Inkjet Multifunction (14J0289) Reviews
I will open the window and toss this printer out. In searching the web for info I realise that many other users have had the same problem. After 9 months of usage this printer seems to have gone wacko. The colour prints just fine. However the black just does not print anymore. Lexmark has not resolved the problem. This is the worst piece of garbage that I have ever owned.
Ted Sears. Never again will I purchase anything that carries the name LEXMARK. The cartridges are overpriced. I recently installed both a new colour and also a black cartridge. Switzerland. It seems that many users are experiencing the same problem that I have.
I have had several lexmarks over the years. This is one of the worst. The eastern india customer support only reacts on certain keywords in the emails and use a form response. I contacted lexmark about it and all I get is a form response about how to clean them, which by the way might get you by for a day but the very next day you try to print alas they are dried out again. But what good is it when you cant print.
3 months is all you can expect out of the carts whether you use them or not. Due to my experiences with this current Lexmark product I would not waste my money on anything else they have to offer. I asked three different questions concerning the cartridges and each time got the same identicle response, one from Abu, one from Hassan, and one from Solomon.
As far as the software and functionality other than the cartridges I had no problems. The problems seem to be in the overpriced 10N0026 and 10N0016 print cartridges. The lexmark Z11 I wish I still had because other than the low print resolution had none of the aforementioned problems. The Lexmark Z23 I previously owned used the same cartridges and had the same problems.
They dry out prematurely.
Its a bit on the slow side, the print quality is about average, but all else is what I would expect from a low end printer. I got this as a present for X-mas and haven't had any problems with it.
First, the cartridges were haywire. I have owned the X75 for nearly 5 months and it has been nothing but constant problems. In 5 months I got no more than 5 decent color photo copies and none from scanning/enlarging. It would never perform as advertised. Then the software balked; then stopped altogether. Save your money and go to the local copier shop. Terrible.
I returned everything back to them. It is the original, full p-o-p with part of the box cardboard still attached. Is this how they handle repairs and customer service. 2 months later, I get my unopened envelope sent back to me with a stamp stating "Return to Sender - Offer Expired"As far as I'm concerned, Lexmark is a scam and I don't know how great their printers are, I will NEVER purchase anything from them again.
To make a long story short, I sent the rebate in well in advance of the deadline, almost 2 months after the deadline I got a letter stating I had to send the proof-of-purchase (which I had sent and they returned it to me. I will not be replacing the cartridges in my printer, I'd rather buy a new printer. I purchased a Lexmark printer. One of the deciding factors is there was a rebate offer if I purchased an ink cartridge at the same time.
I don't trust them. It may seem like a piddly thing, but how many people have they done this too.
